Nilamperoor is a small village in
Kuttanad taluk in
Alappuzha District. This village reflects the tradition and culture of a typical Kerala village.
Nilamperoor is famed by an ancient temple called Bhagavathikkavu. This temple is noted for the annual Padayani festival. A large number of devotees throng here during the festival. Kolam Thullal, a traditional dance, is performed in connection with this festival.
Alappuzha Railway Station is the major railhead nearby and Cochin International Airport is within 100 km range.
