Yoga Nandishvara Temple

Yoga Nandishvara Temple is located at the top of Nandi Hills inKolar District of Karnataka. This is an ancient Dravidian style Chola temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

There are many inscriptions dating back to the ancient period including those of Sambhaji, son of Shivaji. Another astonishing feature of the temple is the metallic Dwarapalakas.
