Vardamoola

Vardamoola is the place where the river Varada orginates. Varada is a tributary of the Tungabhadra. Vardamoola is of immense tourist importance and is located in the industrial town of Sagar, which is 75 km north-west of Shimoga. Sagar is connected by road and rail with Bangalore.
