Anaji, located 20 km from
Davangere city, is a small village famous for Kadamba inscriptions and ancient temples. Kadamba inscriptions dating back to 450 are found here. Remains of a mud fort and a Yoganarasimha Shrine are the prime attractions of Anaji village.
Bellary Airport is the nearest airport and Davangere Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Anaji is well connected by roads and the State Transport buses ply between the surrounding major places. Taxis are also available from Davangere to Anaji.
