Ranebennur




This populous township in Haveri District is on the highway to Bangalore. The town is an important trading center and is famous for its country wool rugs. It is also famous for the Ranebennur Blackbuck Sanctuary. Pilgrim centers are Anandavana Agadi, and Shiva Temple.

Ranebennur can be reached either by road or by rail. Regular buses ply between Bangalore and Ranebennur.
