Mandya Jain Temple




Mandya Jain Temple, located at a distance of 42 km from Mysore and 100 km to the south west of Bangalore, enshrines the idol of Bhagvan Ananthanatha Swamy in the kayotsarga posture. Besides the idol of Bhagwan Ananthanatha Swamy, idol of Goddess Padmavathi Devi is also seen inside the temple sanctum. The Moolanakshatra Puja (birth day of Goddess Padmavathi) conducted in the month of March is celebrated with pomp and splendor by the devotees. Boarding and lodging facilities are available. The temple is well connected by a network of roads from various parts of the state.
