Magod Waterfalls



Magod Waterfalls, a popular picnic spot, is located at Magodu village, about 17 km from Yellapur, in Karnataka.

Blessed with scenic surroundings, Magod Waterfalls is formed when the Bedthi River takes two distinct leaps to hurtle into a rocky ravine. It gushes down from a height of 650 ft.

Kavadikere, a perennial tank, is nearby. A forest guest house is available for accommodation. Bus services are available from Yellapur to reach Magod Waterfalls. The best time to visit here is in early winter.
