Goddess Kamakshi

Goddess Kamakshi is an incarnation of Goddess Parvati – the divine consort of Lord Shiva. It is believed that by worshipping Goddess Kamakshi, one can achieve good prosperity, knowledge, fame and good progeny expeditiously. She is regarded as the giver of both wealth and education for her ardent devotees.

Kamakshi Devi has 'ka' and 'ma' as her eyes. The letter 'ka' refers to Goddess Saraswati and 'ma' refers to Goddess Lakshmi.
