Bailhongal

Bailhongal is a small town in Belgaum District of Karnataka and is 21 km east of Belgaum.

Jain Basti at Vakkund and Kamala Narayan Temple at Devagaon are protected monuments near this town. Some famous Veerashaiva Mutts are found at Naganur, which is close to Bailhongal. Bailhongal is the birthplace of Pandit Krishna Gundopant Ginde, a famous musician. SGV Ayurvedic Medical College is located nearby.
