Kappe Chennigaraya Temple

Kappe Chennigaraya Temple is located at Belur, in Hassan District of Karnataka. The temple is situated near the Chennakesava Temple. It is a small shrine built by Shantala Devi during Hoysala period.

Kappe Chennigaraya Temple features some beautiful images in its inner structure. There are some other shrines situated around the temple dedicated to Veeranarayana (Vishnu), Sridevi and Bhoodevi, Soumyanayaki and Ranganayaki.

Belur, situated about 38 km north-west of Hassan, is well-connected by road and rail with Hassan.
