Gundlupet

Gundlupet is a taluk headquarters in the western part of Chamrajnagar District in Karnataka. This town, also spelt Gundulpet and Gundalpet, is 35 km west of Chamrajnagar, the district headquarters. Bandipur National Park is a nearby attraction.

Mysore is around 60 km north of Gundlupet. Nearest railhead is Chamarajanagar Railway Station. Mysore – Ooty road passes through Gundlupet.
