Panjbakhtar Temple




Panjbakhtar Temple is a revered shrine in Jammu District of Jammu and Kashmir. Located at Panjbakhtar Road in Jammu, it is one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The significance of this shrine is that it has silver coins embedded on the walls and floor. Thus it is also popular by the name "rupaiye waala mandir". Mahashivaratri, the main festival of the temple, is celebrated in a grand manner.

Ranbireshwar Temple, Peer Khoh Cave Temple and Aap Shambu Temple are the nearby worship places.
