| Jammu and Kashmir | UdhampurPingla Devi Shrine
Pingla Devi Shrine is a delightful shrine situated in Karua village, about 20 km from Udhampur, on Udhampur-Ramnagar Road, in Jammu and Kashmir. Situated on a small hillock, the shrine consists of a small cave where Pingla Mata lies in the shape of
Pindies. The cave can accommodate about 500 people at a time, but it looks like a small hole from outside.
To reach the shrine from Karua, one has to trek about six km on foot. The journey is quiet awe-inspiring as the entire track consists of lush green pine trees and is of scenic beauty.
