Muqam is a small village in
Kupwara District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is at a distance of about 60 km from
Srinagar. It lies at an altitude of about 5,843 ft above sea level. Muqam is surrounded by Haiyatpur in the west,
Rangwar in the north,
Dardapur in the east and Muqam Sharifdar in the south.
Muqam is accessible from Redanag, by road.
