Perched at a height of about 1,285 m above sea level, Jangalwar is a town in Doda District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about nine kilometers away from Kutal.
Jangalwar is flanked by Kandhot in its west and Chire in the east. The northern and southern parts are bounded by Kanini and Jaura respectively. Jangalwar is a good base for trekkers and mountaineers on their trail to the Great Himalayas.
Jangalwar is reachable on the Kishtwar – Doda highway.
