Achirik

Placed at a high altitude of about 14,268 ft above sea level, Achirik is a scenic place in Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is to the west of Leh and is about 12 km from Basgo.

Alchi in the north (10 km), Nimu in the east (14 km), Ezas in the south (2 km) and Sumdah in the west (4 km) are some of the places near from Achirik. Alchi Gompa is a nearby attraction.

One can approach Achirik from Chilling and Gondpapa.
