Shoghi

Located at a height of 5,700 ft, Shoghi is about 13 km from Shimla. It lies on the Kalka-Shimla National Highway. Surrounded by oak and rhododendron trees, it commands panoramic views of forests and valleys all around. Park Woods, a village resort, is the prominent attraction. Tara Devi Temple, Viceregal Lodge, Jakhoo Hill, Kandaghat and Kufri are nearby tourist destinations. Shoghi is an ideal base for trekking and camping. Shimla Airport is the nearest airpot.
