Rajgarh




Located in the heart of Sirmaur District, Rajgarh lies at an elevation of 2,100 m above sea level. This biggest subdivision of Sirmaur is blessed with natural beauty and apple orchards. The people of this area are the descendants of Rajputs of Rajasthan. The local Shaya temple of Lord Shirgul, the descendant of Lord Shiva, is one of its attractions. The Choordhar peak is easily accessible from this town.

Rajgarh is 30 km from Solan. It is also accessible by road from Chail. The nearest railhead and airport are at Shimla.
