Hamta Pass




Hamta Pass is situated at an altitude of about 4270 m, in Lahaul Valley over the Pir Panjal Range. On Pir Panjal Range, the Beas-Chenab watershed leads to the Hamta Pass. The pass is an ideal base for trekking. It offers a magnificent view of the Deo Tibba and Indrasan peaks and their glaciers. The famous trekking site Chhika is situated below the Hamta Pass. There is a camping ground, on the other side of Lahaul Valley, below the Hamta Pass.
