Dashir Lake

Dashir, at an altitude of 4,270 m, is a picturesque lake very close to Rothang Pass, which connects the districts of Kullu and Lahaul and Spiti. With a depth of 4 meter, the lake is believed to have remedial properties.

Also known as Dashaur and Sarkund, Dashir’s surroundings are blessed with precipitous cliffs, huge glaciers, piled moraine and deep ravines.
