. Boundaries are shared with the districts of Panipat
Agriculture is the major occupation. The crops are sugarcane, cotton, jowar, bajra, rice, wheat, gram, barley, potatoes, onions, chillies, oilseeds, cotton and sugarcane. Livestock includes cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, horses, ponies, donkeys, pigs, and poultry.

Uchana are the major tourist spots. In addition, there are many teerths mentioned in the old texts such as Asvini Kumara, Varaha, Ekahamsa,
Pushkara, Dasasvamedha and Koti Teerth.
