Dabhoi Fort is 30 km south-east of
Vadodara.
Built in the 13th century, it is a fine example of Hindu military architecture. It is the birthplace of Hindu Gujarati architecture and noted for the design of its gateways. The fort has four gates and a reservoir. A temple of
Goddess Kali is seen inside the fort.
