Talpona

Located on the banks of the Arabian Sea, in Canacona taluk, Talpona is a small fishing village in South Goa District. Galjibaga is nearly 2 km south and Poinguinim is 4 km east. The Talpona Beach, a remote beach with some small dunes, is the prime attraction. The Talpona river joins the Arabian Sea here. Galjibaga Beach, Rajbhag Beach and Polem Beach are the nearest tourist spots. Goa Airport and Canacona Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
