Vagator is a beautiful village situated towards the north of
Anjuna Beach in
North Goa District, separated from it by clifftops and parched grasslands. The village lies on the northern edge of Bardez taluk and can be easily reached from the city
Mapusa which is just 9 km from here. The beautiful white sandy
Vagator Beach is the main attraction of the village which also holds some of the most picturesque ancient Portuguese bungalows.
The capital city, Panaji, which is 22 km away, is connected to the village by frequent bus services. The nearest airport at
Dabolim, Goa Airport, is around 50 km and the railway station is at
Karmali, 33 km away from Vagator.
