Holy Spirit Church

Holy Spirit Church, located at Margao, is one of the notable buildings in South Goa District. Built in 1565, it is situated at the site of the Shree Damodar Temple which was destroyed by the Portuguese.

This church is a fine example of Indian Baroque style architecture. It has a beautiful rectangular square in front. The exquisitely decorated altars are dedicated to St Peter and St Michael.
