Sansad Marg

Sansad Marg or Parliament Street is so called because The Parliament is situated on this road. Needless to say, it is a road frequented by the Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, politicians and other dignitaries. The road connects the Parliament with Connaught Place. Akashvani Kendra (the official radio station of Government of India), Life Insurance of India (LIC) Building and Press Trust of India are important landmarks on the road. The Rashtrapati Bhavan is nearby.
