Khirki Village

Khirki is a village located at the southern part of New Delhi, in South Delhi District. Owing to the low cost of land as compared to other South Delhi locations, the village is attracting entrepreneurs and architects and is fast becoming a residential and commercial hub. Khirki is near Saket and is about 15 km south of Connaught Place.

Khirki Village derives its name after the medieval Khirki Fort, built during the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq in the 14th century. Begampiri Masjid, Siri Fort and Jahanpanah City Forest are nearby. Qutab Minar is about 4 km to the south-west.

Khirki Village can be reached by bus from the interstate bus terminus at Kashmiri Gate or Sarai Kale Khan. Indira Gandhi International Airport is about 15 km to the west.
