Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple




Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at Dongargarh, on the peak of a mountain, 1000 ft above the sea level, in Rajnandgaon District of Chhattisgarh. The temple is dedicated to Maa Bagulamukhi Devi, a powerful manifestation of Durga. Devotees have to climb a flight of 1100 stairs to reach this holy temple. The temple is believed to be constructed by Raja Veersen, the then ruler of Dongargarh. Raipur Airport and Rajnandgaon Railway Station are the nearest connecting points.
