Gej River, one of the tributaries of the
Hasdeo River, originates from the hills on the west of the central plateau in
Koriya District. It flows past
Baikunthpur and receives the waters of the Jhink and the Atem from the left. After that it drains into the
Mahanadi through the Hasdeo River.
