Chandigarh Central Bus Station

Chandigarh Central Bus Station is situated in the heart of the city, on the south side of sector 17. It is situated on National Highways 21 and 22. The station operates regular buses, deluxe video buses and air-conditioned deluxe video buses. Buses ply from Chandigarh to Amritsar, Dehradun, Delhi, Shimla, Manali, Jaipur and Rishikesh. For the ease of travelers, a post office, a rail reservation centre and 24-hour cloakroom are provided. Tourist information counter at the station offers the necessary help to passengers.

Chandigarh Airport is 11 km away from the bus station. Chandigarh Railway Station is about 8 km from the city centre.

Major tourist destinations in and around the city include the Rock Garden, Zakir Rose Garden, Fragrance Garden, Shanti Gunj, Sukhna Lake, Museum and Art Gallery, City Museum and Children Art Gallery.
