Ahilyagram




Ahilyagram is a charming hamlet nearly 25 km north of Darbhanga, in Darbhanga District of Bihar. This village is famed for Ahilya Asthan, an ancient temple dedicated to Ahalya.

The main attraction of Ahilyagram are the spectacular fairs held during Ramnavami in Chaitra (mid-March to mid-April) and Vivah Panchami in Agrahayan (mid-November to mid-December). Thousands of people gather in this village to witness these events.

Nearest airport is at Patna.

Kamtaul Railway Station, located 3 km north, is on Darbhanga- Gorakhpur rail route.
