Dhepa Dhuliya is a folk dance performed in most parts of Darrang District
. This traditional dance form involves four or six dancers attired in brightly colored shirts and gowns.
The costumes usually make use of the three basic colors; red, green and blue. The dancers play the cymbals while moving to the beats of Dhepadhol, a drum known for its unique sound.
Dhepa Dhuliya is mostly performed during important ceremonies such as wedding.
