Tadpatri




Tadpatri is 54 km northeast of Anantapur. It lies halfway between Hyderabad and Bangalore and is 120 km southwest of Ahobilam. The place is renowned for two 16 th century Vijayanagar Temples, namely, the Ramalingeswara Temple and the Chintala Tiruvengalanathaswami Temple. Both the temples are rich in sculpture and carvings.

Tadpatri Railway Station is on the Raichur-Chennai line.
