Nizamsagar reservoir is constructed across the
Manjira River, between Achampet and Banjapalle villages of
Nizamabad District. There is a huge masonry dam which spreads across the river for about 3 km. The dam and a garden are the prime attractions here. Boating facility is also available.
The reservoir is 144 km northwest of Hyderabad.
