Palakollu Railway Station is on the Narasapur-Gudivada railway line of the South Central Railways. Hyderabad-Narasapur Express, Narasapur-Guntur Passenger and Gudivada-Narasapur Passenger are the main train connections. Seat reservation is computerized.

The station is about 21 km from Bhimavaram. Going south-west, Narasapur Railway Station is the main station next to Palakollu.
