Nagarjunasagar Dam




Nagarjunasagar Dam, located 150 km from Guntur, is considered the largest masonry dam in the world. This 124 m high and 1 km long dam has 26 crest gates. Extending across the Krishna River, it has created the world's third largest man-made lake. The Buddhist relics, which were excavated here, are reconstructed at Anupu . Ethipothala Waterfalls is nearby.
