Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is situated at Gajwel Mandal in Medak District. It is 12 km from Medak and 40 km from Hyderabad on the Hyderabad-Nagpur highway. Built on the banks of the holy Haridra River, the temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This ancient temple also houses the shrines of Lord Shiva, Sita Rama, Lakshman, Garuda, Sri Anjaneya Swamy(Lord Hanuman), Bhairava and Navagrahas. Having a dip in the holy river Haridra not only purifies the sins but also cures skin diseases.
