Kazipet Dargah




Kazipet Dargah is a popular shrine located at Kazipet in Warangal District and is 2 km from Kazipet Railway Station. It is the shrine of the sufi saint Hazrath Afzal Biabani, who was once the Qazi (Islamic judge) of Warangal District and Jagirdar (land-lord) of Kazipet.

This holy shrine is visited by Muslims, Hindus, Christians and Sikhs from all over the country. Hindu families of Kazipet and nearby villages bring the newly married couple to the dargah before entering the house to get blessings.
