Chandragiri Fort

Chandragiri Fort is located in Chandragiri of Chittoor District in Andhra Pradesh and is 11 km southwest of Tirupati. The fort was built during the 10th century and stands on a huge hill. The ruins of palaces and temples are found in the fort. A sound and light show is organized everyday by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) at this fort.
